May you be blessed with good health and safety during these stressful times. Look for ways you can be a blessing to others while keeping yourself safe – via phone calls, handwritten notes, emails, and always, prayer. Virtual hugs to you all!
BIG NEWS!! Church Hill UMC has resumed in-person services as of Sunday, June 14th! It is wonderful to see each other again! We are asking everyone to follow COVID-19 safety protocols, including wearing a mask, using hand sanitizer, observing social distancing of at least 6 feet, and avoiding our usual hugs and handshakes for now. We will have an offering box at the entrance to the Sanctuary into which you can place your offerings on the way in or out of the service, so that we don’t need to pass the offering plates up and down the pews. We will not be offering Bible Brew, our coffee hour refreshments, for the time being in order to reduce risks to our congregation. But your presence and the smiling eyes behind your masks will be a joy to all who attend. Hope to see you soon!!
NOTE: Check our Facebook page or our CHUM YouTube channel – see links on the left side of this page – for videos of our Sunday services, including announcements, prayers, special music and messages from our pastor! These will be posted by Monday morning for those who are unable or not quite ready to attend the service in person.

JOIN US on Sunday, July 5th at 10:30 worship, when our new pastor, Pastor Shannon Trenton, will begin her ministry with us! We are excited to welcome her to Church Hill. She and her family will be moving into our new church parsonage on East Drive the week after her first Sunday with us, and it will be wonderful to have them in our community.
We said “Goodbye” on June 28th to Pastor Ken Kelley, who has retired after six years with us, although he has many roles and activities planned for the future. Church Hill gave him a “drive-by” celebration in the Churchhill parking lot that evening as members waved, showed signs with good wishes and dropped off cards to Pastor Ken and his wife, Vicky, at our Education Wing entrance. We wish him the best as he begins this new phase of his life!
