Welcome to Church Hill United Methodist Church!

May you be blessed with good health and safety during these stressful times. Look for ways you can be a blessing to others while keeping yourself safe – via phone calls, handwritten notes, emails, and always, prayer.  VIrtual hugs to you all!

PLEASE NOTE:  Church Hill UMC has canceled services and all meetings during the period of Sunday, March 15 through Friday, May 1 adhering to the East Ohio Conference Bishop’s request to do so. As the status changes, we will list any updates here.  In the meantime, please know we are praying for all who are impacted by the COVID-19 virus crisis – and that is almost everyone! – and we ask you to pray for each other as well.

NOTE: Check our Facebook page – see link on this page – for video recordings of messages from Pastor Ken!

LIBERTY FOOD PANTRY UPDATE:  We offered a “drive-up” Food Pantry for our Liberty residents on Friday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to Noon.  Pre-packed boxes of food were available at the main Office entrance as cars drove up, and we  served at least 88 families this month.  This change in our procedures was designed to reduce the risk of close human contact during the Coronavirus crisis while still making food available to our community members who need it.  NOTE: This same process is planned for the Food Pantry on Friday, May 1st.

The following study groups are not meeting at least until after May 1st:

Two groups are now offering the study Faithful and Inclusive, which is designed for participants to develop their own perspective on the Bible’s passages related to homosexuality.  PASTOR KEN’S STUDY GROUP is on Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m., Room 202 (Parlor) upstairs in the Education Wing.    COVENANT KEEPERS Lifeline Group, held in Room 206 on Sundays at 9:00 a.m, is also presenting this study.  Classes will run through March 29.  All are welcome to attend!

King’s Kids and IGNITE Youth Group is on hold at least until May. Updates will be posted here as they are made.
