“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands!”
The description below is for the way our service was before COVID-19, and describes what we hope to return to when it is safe to do so. Because vocal singing is one of the easiest ways to spread the virus, the Chancel Choir will not be singing for the time being; congregational singing will be included as conditions allow. Fortunately, we are blessed with wonderful musicians in our church – our organist, Michele, and our pianist, Carla, along with many members with musical gifts – so we will always have inspiring music to enhance our worship services!
Music of many types is featured in our Worship services, with the Praise singers leading the congregation in contemporary praise songs to open our Sunday services, and the Chancel Choir singing a wide range of inspiring anthems.
Additional singers and musicians are ALWAYS welcome – contact Jane Page for more information!
Music is also a frequent element within our Children’s Ministries, so we are delighted by occasional musical performances by our children’s groups as well. In addition, lively music is featured prominently in our children’s worship service, KREW.
