Blott Kids Christmas Gift Program

The Blott Holiday Gift program serves the children and families of Blott Elementary School in Liberty Township. In 2020, we plan to continue this ministry  with some adjustments due to the Covid-19 restrictions: We will still have our Sharing Trees, although in fewer locations (our church Narthex, Denny’s on Belmont Avenue and the Liberty Branch Library on Churchill-Hubbard Rd.)

If you would like to help provide a gift, but are not getting out where the Sharing Trees are located, contact Sharon Wathen at 330-759-2314 or call the church office at 330-759-0118 and leave a message with your name and phone number.  We will contact you and help you select the gifts that you would enjoy providing.

Sharon Wathen and her team are contacting individuals who have volunteered to help with children’s outfits and gifts.  We expect to serve around 90 children this year, providing clothing, toys, games and books, with each family receiving gift cards for food as well.  Financial support is always welcome to purchase items that are not provided through the Sharing Tree process.  Make checks payable to Church Hill United Methodist, with a designation of “BLOTT HOLIDAY KIDS PROJECT” on your check and posting envelope.

What a blessing for the community to come together to serve the needs of these families during these difficult times!
